The subject matter on here is pretty obnoxious. Does it break TOS?

I don't know, take a look around and see what you think.

You'll have to point something out. Im not going to spend an hour reading through the forum.

From first glance it looks fine.

(Is this a site your are trying to promote or do you really have an AdSense question?)

OK, i'll try to give you an example. No, it's not a site I'm promoting. Has nothing to do with me.

The subject matter of the forum is the North East of England, the same as that of your own forum!

"We would like to welcome you to the forum and want you to enjoy your visit. We would like to have this forum be a free speech area for the people of the North East. Please remember that our young people may visit also from time to time so lets keep our language and topics acceptable."

If the site had moderator-led discussion areas promoting racism, sexism, criminal activities etc I could understand your comments but having had a quick look around It sounds more like sour grapes

    Cheers
    BP (from the north west)

ps I prefer your colour scheme / layout, although having the 'who is online' at the top of the main page is a little ungainly IMHO

You're partly right, the forum is in my area, the subject matter is always negative on there. I have had issues of copyright with them and also breach of privacy (they published my name and address on their board and copied great chunks of content, which I had removed by ezBoards). You'd need to email me privately to find out what else they've done though. ;)

I wanted an independent assessment, rather than my 'sour grapes' view. :)

I have to level with you Dave, thats how it came across to me to.

As far as the TOS, there is no violation.

OK, thanks guys. I think if he's given enough rope he'll hang himself anyway. Too much bad mouthing and libel going on to survive for too long ;-)

You may very well have a case and if thats happening, I wish you the best of luck in persuing it.

I would consult with a Lawyer though. I don't think the AdSense angle is the right way to go. They don't get involved in this type of thing.

    Cheers

No, I'll let someone else do the sueing, I can't afford libel litigation, do you know how much that costs? :) Hopefully the council or the police will take issue to his allegations sooner or later. I was just checking he was adsense legal with you guys as i'm already biased. :)

Ads in global header maybe? ;)

Yes quite. All I can do is make sure everything I say is true, which it is, and I have the evidence if it's ever needed.
