Is this server Strong Enough?

I am going to buy a dedicated server. I came accross this deal. I am looking for opinions to see if it could handle 30 proxy sites.

I can also have up to 10 IP address. It will be running CentOS.

Server 1
- AMD Athlon XP 2000+
- 1024MB DDR Memory
- 120GB EIDE Hard Drive
- 1500GB Traffic per month
- 100Mbit Connection

Could this handle it?

I guess you got that quoted at $50 ? Depends upon the popularity and traffic of your proxies.

yeah i have run proxy sites, look up how to mod apache and max connections and you will be fine

 

i got it and they upgraded it to a sempron 2400 for free!

Now i just have to figure out how to configure a server, DOH!

 

Did you make use of the free plesk 30 domain license...or have any other plans regarding control panel and management?

Well I have my server, but ran into a few dilemmas.

Does anyone have experience with plesk on a dedicated server.

I am having trouble setting up a DNS name, and trying to figure out how to host sites on my plesk. Any help would be appreciated.
