I have a site wide link on a large website (www.brabys.co.za)that points to my site (www.evolvepro.co.za) from its main navigation. I setup a subdomain page called http://property.evolvepro.co.za to receive the link which in turns sends the traffic to www.evolvepro.co.za. I did this so that I dont get 40 000 links overnight from 1 site. Please can you give advise on this. Thanks Rich
You wouldn't... it is a site wide link and only counts as 1 ...he he.... nice waste of time M8... now any potential ORGANIC traffic will get confused if anything.... A sub-domain IS NOT considered a seperate site no matter what anyone tells you. That is incorrect. Sooooooo both ideas kinda fall short Hope that helps.. IT IS NOT BH or going to get U in trouble
Lot's of pages... well depending of the content... if it's a content for web-users then is ok , if you generate random text/dynamic content in the hope SE will like you more, then you will probally get into troubles
if all the subdomains are real content that you generate yourself and points them to your main site, den it's alrite. you can actually market the sub domain apart from your main domain. it'll help in the traffic in some way i guess...
This is not Black hat, but I would have point the link directly to the domain and not created a sub domain.
