Guys, i have a site which was ranked no. 4 for a my targetted keyword in google. But before some days, it has disappeared totally from google. My site is static and i am not adding contents in it. For that particular keyword today, its ranked 4th in yahoo and 36th in bing but not even indexed in google. What should be my next step? If this is sandbox, what strategy will be effective for me to regain my position? Hope for replies...

If the content is unique, add more of it and see what happens.

How old is your site, the younger it is the more likely it is to do the Google dance and / or to get sandboxed. The recipe to help is always the same, add more useful content and build links. SY

SERP results tend to fluctuate more for newer sites. You might bounce back up in a few days or so, or not. Google might have deemed your site of low value, and so put a penalty on is. Add good content and build some links and you will get back up there.

thankx for these replies. But i think google is dancing with me. In one day, my site will be in no 5 position and after some days, it disappears and found no where....This process is ongoing till now...

If your site is new it is surely just a google dance.
Google does this to make your heart skip a beat. They like to keep things interesting.
