Hey All, if this is in the wrong section I apologize. I have been looking at my stats and a couple of my sites are getting alot of page impressions, but only a few uniques. For example, I have one site that got 3/28 Page Loads - 317 Uniques - 55 Returns - 5 3/27 Page Loads - 637 Uniques - 142 Returns - 6 It has been going on since Monday, where I had 582 pageloads with only 61 Uniques, That doesnt seem right to me. I have checked the error logs and the only error I see is [Fri Mar 28 07:50:18 2008] [error] [client 38.98.120.78] File does not exist: /home/laflairs/public_html/404.shtml Does this mean someone is trying to access my site? If they are I thought the error log would be filled with things like Wrong password or something. I just hope someone isnt trying to get into my site. Any help on this would be greatly appreciated and again, I apologize if this is in the wrong session
Looks normal to me , nothing to worry about that 404 thingy , you may just want to create a 404 to capture misdirected visits.
I appreciate the fast response, I just did some research, (which I should have done before post) And it looks like I just got a few visitors that looked around alot.
Whats your site? I had an online browser based game that had around 30 page loads per visitor. It all depends what kind of site you have.
http://www.laflairslingerie.com I took a look and it shows visits have been lengthy, So maybe the visits are just going around the site.
