Is this possible?

I'm not sure if this should go here or somewhere else but:

I have a picture rating site, members can sign up, vote, upload pics blah blah blah.

What I want to do is add a forum to it. Is it possible to use phpBB and have the same member database for the main site and for the forum? That way they don't have to sign up twice.

i dont see a problem with that, just duplicate the database and it should work.

They need to be bridged, depends what scripts your using.

I added a MyBB forum to a coppermine gallery, cant remember what one causes the difficulty but because my gallery was established before the forum i cant have the members login with the one username and password, they basically need to sign up again for the forum, seperate from the gallery.

Work keeping in mind for anyone thinking of bridging certain scripts.

You have to edit the script, such that when someone registers. It will also register the user to the database of PHPBB3.

Search for PHPBB3 registration integration on google.

    Peace,
