Is this Possible....(sigh)?

I deleted some campaigns...and they say deleted...but they still show up in editor (they have a red triangle next to them indicating they are deleted).

How do you permanately delete a compaign in adwords editor?

I want to delete them because i need the space on my desktop....

IN other words...i don't want to see them on the Tree on the left....(if that's possible).

I called google and they don't know how to do it....

Again...don't know if its possible....

 

I do not believe that you can permanently delete a campaign however, you can hide them from your desktop.

AdWords Editor
Go to Tools, Settings then click the check box "hide deleted"

Adwords
There is a small drop down on the top right hand corner of display bar (just above cost) and you can show all, show all active or show all but deleted.

nope....the deleted campaigns still show up on the left side with a "red ball" next to them.

they are taking up space on the tree on the left colum.

 

there is a setting that doesnt show deleted campaigns.

 

You should check the settings of your deleted campaign, there may be something wrong with it. After you correct the errors, you can delete them and choose the options mentioned by "Adwords-Advice", it should be disappeared.

 

You cannot permanently delete it but you can hide them

campaigns can be deleted but it will show up in your account as deleted. you cannot remove it from you list but go to the settings and you'll get and option of hiding/showing only the active campaigns hope this helps

haha....this is begining to sound like an Abbott and Costello Movie.

I "KNOW" that you can hide the deleted accounts "directly" in Google Adwords..

Again...I know This!

I am talking about in AE....getting rid of them in AE....or hiding them in AE?

1) I went into AE...and clicked Tools, then Settings, and checked the "hide all deleted and ended campaigns"...and also unchecked the "download deleted and ended campaigns."

2) I then went to Account, then Recent Account changes and uploaded the changes from Google account.

I did this and it did nothing. The deleted accounts still show in AE (sigh)

Have you seen a red circle?
Believe me, check some unposted changes which has something wrong with it and modify them, the deleted campaigns should be hided then.
