I found this adult store which is, well a little bit cheaper than others I've found. But how can one tell if its legit or not? I checked the domain registrar and it is registered an year ago. I've googled for the site and nothing suspicious or complaint from another user have come up. Here is the domain: adultoysuk.co.uk adultoysuk.com also redirects to the same site, but the registrar is not the same also the host which the site uses appears that is owned by the same guy, Mark. Can anyone help me solve this mistery?
Well they are breaking a whole host of UK laws and regulations.... they arent providing their legal status (sole trader/ company etc), not providing a physical address for themselves, their domain is registered as non-trading, they are using PayPal which has the lowest security checks for accounts, their privacy statement doesnt mention about cookies as required, their news letter is unclear if it is opt in or opt out, they dont appear to be VAT registered so are either small time or avoiding taxation..... It could well be either a perfectly fine store run buy some guy at home who isnt aware of regulations or is just doing it on the side and trying to flow below radar with a bit of tax evasion or is a totally bogus site. Unfortunately Companies House isnt available at this time of night to see if any of the names are registered limited companies.
