I am new to the Clickbank world etc, so I tried simply to do something I read in one of these "get rich" books... I bought a URL and redirected it to a clickbank affiliate. www.thepdfcreator.com Will I be rich in a week?!?! I am guessing not. Does anyone have any experience of selling this line? Hey, thanks for choosing to promote the MyPDFCreator product! I unfortunately doubt you'll get rich by only registering a domain name and redirecting it to an affiliate link. There are some straight forwarded domains like cars.com, loans.com, office.com, which might get some traffic by people simply entering them into their address bar, but you'll probably won't get much visitors with a longer domain name. There are however multiple ways to send valuable traffic to your site & affiliate link. Here are three simplified examples to get you started: PPC/Search Engine Advertising: By advertising the affiliate program on search engines like Google, Yahoo or MSN, using Google Adwords, Yahoo Search Marketing, or MSN AdCenter. It will cost you some money and some time to master but it can be very profitable. (You can find more info on the MyPDFCreator affiliate page: scroll down to "PPC (Pay Per Click) Advertising") Articles & Bum-marketing: Advertising the affiliate program by writing short articles & so called bum-marketing. I can remember a post here at DP about someone making $9000 using this single method alone. Anyway, it's completely free but it might take some more work and time. Forum Posts: By recommending the product on various forums somehow related to the product. Place the product in your signature box, write a small review, etc.. Btw, I noticed you're sending your visitors to the standard MyPDFCreator homepage. It might depend on your visitors, but we've done a lot of testing and the download page does actually convert a lot better. The download page will allow your visitors to directly download a fully functional but free trial version, which will only work for 1-2 days. They'll have the time to get accustomed to the software and will then be asked to purchase a license to keep on using the software. Needles to say, it works like a charm with conversion rates topping at 4-5% and with low refunds as they've already been able to decide whether or not they actually like the software . simply joining any affiliate program cant make anybody rich. you should promote your links and send targeted visitors to them so that you can generate sales. Your success depends on your efforts. All the Best
