Is this okay?

Is it okay to say on a site, "This site made $x.xx with adsense yesterday"
I havent done this, just wondering whether this is ok.

 

I don't believe that would be a violation of the ToS. I've seen a lot of people display their earnings by date - it's the other metrics (impressions, clicks, CTR, eCPM) that cannot be displayed.

I don't think people are happy to know how much money they are making for you by clicking your ads.

 

I would ask the Adsense team...if you run that on the same page as ads they might think you are drawing attention to the ads by mentioning information about them...

better safe than....

Just for curiosity, why do you want to reveal your earnings to everyone? To gloat ?

the green one.

It's like saying,
"Hey I make money from this site. How much? I'm not telling..."

I dont wonna show it off - it was just an idea, kinda dumb i guess

 

For what it's worth, I don't think it's a dumb idea - under the right circumstances, and used in conjunction with the 'Monetized by AdSense' button, I'd guess it could put some money in your pocket.
