    My backlinks have been shoing stuck at 7 for weeks. Yesterday evening I checked and it had jumped to 15. I slept for 4 hours and got up then checked again and it had dropped back to 7 again. The site I'm checking for is only about 5 months old. What should it be at. I have submitted to many directories and have joined the co-op. Also have lots of links set up on other forums and several parter sites that have set up mutual links to each others sites. I can't seem to get this number up. Any tips.

    Well I just checked again and it has jumped back up to 15. My other site was showing 0 and jumped up to 9 now so I guess things are working. Im slowly crawling my way up the ranks at Google. Sure wish Google was as easy to get to the top with as MSN and Yahoo.
