I just started my first campain with Adwords and I feel somewhat confused... My daily budget is set to 2$ (Google says: "Your budget is OK. We don't recommend changes at this time") I have a hundred keywords or so, together I should (according to DP keyword tool) have a couple of thousands impressions yet I only get like 90 impressions. My QS is around 95% "Great" and I pay 0.04 or 0.05 for each keyword. The ads are up (I've tested it) but no one is apparently searching, what's up with that?? I've chosen accelerated as delivery method, I am really confused... Anyone? Edit: I wanted to add that I've only crossed "Google Search" and that I'm targeting the US, UK, Australia and Ireland
Don't think so, my problem has to do with impressions not ctr. Thanx anyway Anyone who knows what might be the issue here?
Perhaps break it down to one campaign for each country. People in different countries could be searching for different things based on their language, slang, dialect... etc
I don't see what that might be good for? A user in Canada searching for "DP" is no different from one in the US, what do you mean by slang/language in this context? Anyhow, anyone experienced with Adwords who might know if this is normal (only getting like a 100 impressions when it should be thousands)
ok, are you spending your $2 budget? The Impressions stop showing when the budget has been spent for the day.
Yea I know but I've only had one click (0.05$) due to the low impressions. It's really starting to bug me, Ive added the search network now as well. Wonder if that helps much...
What is your average position for the keywords you are receiving impressions on? You can have great QS, but if your avg pos is high, you might want to bump your min bid.
It's like 4.3, why would I want to bump it? Having a high QS and ad position is good right? Will I receive more impressions if I raise my bids?
From what I can deduce from the information you have provided, your problem is your daily budget: it's far too low. Google is spreading out your impressions throughout the day, which is why you're getting so few. Increase your daily budget and your impressions should increase.
Exactly, and further more Google claims I don't need to change my daily budget ... I've bid a little higher on some the keywords now. Will this change occur following midnight?
Simple - change your budget to a higher amount. If you change it to $20 for a day as an experiment, what's the worst that can happen?
