    Hi,
I always thought that google treated your subdomain url as separate link/site etc. so why does it show up when you type , site:domain.com ?

    Example why does http://www.mydirectoryrank.webdirectoryreviews.com/ show up when i type , site:webdirectoryreviews.com ??

    What am i missing here?

I think they're treated differently in the SERPs, like backlinks to the main domain won't help the SERPs of the sub-domain.

Ok so my question is why do they appear together in the site: command ? should it not only show just the main domain ?

Not sure, maybe they're only treated differently in the spidering, PR, SERPs etc but not the site command. :p
