Is this normal after transferring a web host?

    Hey,
I just switched from A Small Orange to Hostgator, and Hostgator did the courtesy of transferring all of the databses and files for me to their host. On Godaddy, I did a batch change for all of my domains to the new hostgator nameservers. It's been 24 hours, yet sometimes when I access the cpanel on my domain, it leads to the cpanel on my old host, and other times, it leads to the cpanel on my new host.

    Is this normal?

Wait longer. DNS can take minutes or days to change.

Up to 72 hours with 24-48 being the norm. It all depends on how your request is routed.

It could also be caching by your ISP - try using a proxy to visit your sites and see if they lead to the "new" version.

Yes it seems to be a caching issue. Maybe you can try OpenDNS.com
