Just search "Tutorials" in your google.com or .de or .co.uk where ever u are. If there are a lot off adwords adds on the results than its worth if not then "No" its no good this niche.

Nope... people who are looking for tutorials are generally freebie seekers.

Use the Google Adsense Keywords tool and you will see that "Forex Trading Tutorial" pays huge dollars.
"Photo shop tutorials" has very low competition and very high search count, so that one might be good to try.

A niche like tutorials might be conducive to affiliate marketing too, if you can position your site/blog that way. I don't agree that people looking at tutorials are freebie seekers. Even if they are, they can always find something in an Adsense ad that they find attractive enough to click. I think you should give it a try.

I don't think that people who look for tutorials are necessarily freebie seekers. I have seen tutorials that actually encourage viewers to purchase. As far as what you are trying to offer tutorials specifically, you can always do a little research, and look at Cost Per Click figures to determine profitability. Once you have that, it's a matter of considering traffic and conversion. I think you are only limited by your creativity in this case.

One previous poster is on the money - we must conclude that tutorial seekers are people looking for something free. Some of our clients have tried adsense on tut pages, and the payout is generally low.

Some tutorial keyword phrases may have low payouts per click, but others are very high-paying.

Yes it's an excellent niche, but keep it general, don't make tutorials only about too technical topics, or you'll fail (at least not meet the success you could if you keep it general for real dummmies)

You can avoid many errors if, before you make a site, you begin by doing proper research.

Well, have you tried using the Google Adwords Keyword Tool yet?
If you don't have more powerful software such as Micro Niche Finder, Google is an excellent place to start.
As suggested, do a search for "tutorials."
Perhaps you will see something that looks both interesting and profitable.
As a wise man once said, "You don't have to get it perfect, you just have to get it moving."

CPC does not quite mean what it says. For example, if a keyword has a $5 CPC showing, that doesn't mean you get paid $5 per click, but rather it's what an advertiser might have to pay Google. Still, CPC is useful for showing the relative profitability of different keywords. One with $5 CPC is probably worth 5-times more than one with a $1 CPC.

Another thing to pay attention to is competition.
You want to see high CPC and low competition.
Just as important, you want to see something that you're interested in.

If you see promising looking numbers for "fashion design tutorials" for example, and that turns your crank, then before you head to namecheap.com to see whether or not fashiondesigntutorials.com is available, you ought to take some time to consider how you'll monetize the site.
Is AdSense the only alternative, or are there affiliate programs that might be even better?
Try doing a Google search for "fashion design" "affiliate program" for example.

Also, see if a search for "fashion design tutorials" results in any AdWords ads showing up.
If nobody is buying ads for a particular keyword phrase, it may mean there's insufficient interest in the market.

    Make sense?
