Is this new feature from Google? Google checkout in Google search

Hi,

Last week whenever I open up Google in Internet explorer a Google checkout image appears on top left. Also, it appears whenever I get a hit for a YouTube video in Google results.

Is this a new feature from Google? How can i turn it off, it is very disturbing. What is it for? I can not find anything on the matter when I search on Google about it.

It comes up in Google everytime I search. It is not by default just for one search but everytime I do a search in Google.

It does not appear in Firefox.

The top left Google checkout image comes up everytime I do a search.

Whenever there is a Youtube hit in the serps the same Google checkout image appear to the left of the video thumbnail. Yes it is weird!

You would think Google would know better how to code their stuff.

 

I use google.com.pk ans so far, I have not seen this feature.

looks like paypal has started counting it's days.
