Is manga site like mangashare.com violating the TOS of Adsnese? Legal? No copyright problem? I have gone through some others before, as well as placed adsense on their sites.
If it did violate the tos for adsense then you won't be able to place adsense on your site. It's just a forum so what is the problem?
Thats a good question, I wanted to make a manga a site before. But wasn't sure about the legal view of it.
Hey, sarah_harvey. Once your adsense applicant is accepted by google, you can even place it on porn site. Just later on, you will have warning letter. Xphic, Let's figure out it. I do have read some copyright laws of China and U.S.A (I'm locate in China.) Because of differences in the chapters, you can do this semi-infringe copyright affair in some specific countries without any law problems. But do it fit to the TOS of Adsense, I'm suspicious, so I ask. The point is "Are these contents infringed the copyright owners?" Think about the warez sites?~?~
Well I thought of it like this. If my friend gave me a couple of his Detective Conan Volumes to read, is that consider illegal? Because thats essential what these manga sites are, just on a very large scale. Onemanga seems to add on manga and if the creator or license holder have a problem with it they'll remove it. @ jkadin You misunderstood kolier. kolier, meant nothing is stopping you from adding adsense to any site as Google doesn't manual approve multiple site addons. But you'll get banned eventually if it's a site that goes against the TOS
You are right, just do while the copyright owner warn you. I think there is a green light given to the traffic busy website from Google. Because some famous Video sites in China even can place Adsense on it while they put the whole movies, tv episodes and so on without permission. Like mangashare.com, it didn't place adsense long ago. So, like you said, are these: 1, User generated content 2, have busy traffic (Or not) Can do this semi-infringed affair?
