I am trying to work up some confidence by targeting really low comp keywords and ranking fast. This one gets 2900 exact searches has 32 results for intitle"" 33 for inanchor"". when typed in normally only one page in the top ten has the full phrase making me think this is low comp however the top pages have half of my long tail keyword in the domain does this matter should I go for it and see what happens?
According to recent Google updates meta keywords size should not be large than 70 characters. I am not quite sure having more have sense.
Well dont go for long tail keywords more than 70-75 characters as per google recent updates it considers as a keyword stuffing. If you are using short term keywords then don't put more than 4 keywords in list.
try short keywords.............it better as it require hardwork to get listed in serp but have high traffic....
I don't agree. Short tale = tough competition --> Higher cost --> More time to get high rank It's very tempting to choose the short tale keywords because of the large volume of visitors but if you play your cards wisely on the long-tale you can reach more visitors than in the short tale, in lower cost and more quickly. Check out this post on how to exploit the long tale keywords
I agree with gamez4you. I prefer long tail keywords because you also get to target the phrases within that one long tail keyword and rank for that too. For example, in the dating niche, I can target the keyword "dating tips for men". That keyword has low competition with a thousand or two monthly searches. Within that long tail keyword is "dating tips" which has around 12,000 monthly searches and has medium competition. Since I am targeting the long tail version which is low competition, I am also able to target the shorter keyword within my long tail keyword. Hope that helps. Have a good day!
Not only that, if you are using group keywords you can get traffic from the long tail even if you don't have the short tail in them...
