Hello I have created a site and am now in the backlinking process. Would it be a good idea to write ezine articles have them linking to one another and then finally linking back to my website. In a sort of a link wheel fashion. I know it can be good but im worried incase google was to catch on and pretty much demolish my effort and time for it. I would link them in a way like if you liked this article why not check my other article on bla bla bla then the final article linking back to my site.
Linkwheels can be effective, but extremely tedious. I used to hire 2 staff in the Philippines to take care of linkwheel creation for me. Something to think about...
LinkWheel from same domain is never effective. When you create a linkwheel always consider open linkwheel, close linkwheel easy to catch and also look intentional. Google won't bother about your link building process as long as it look natural.
Hi, A link wheel is one of the effective ways to improve popularity of the website, and it consist of web 2.0 sites that will increase the traffic and quality backlinks into your site.
Like someone else has said, closed link wheels are risky. But it sounded to me like you were describing a link pyramid. Link pyramids are lower risk but don't expect to upload some articles to Ezine and link to them with some forum profile links and expect to rank for competitive keywords - that kind of thing won't work anymore.
Link Wheel is a technique which is the most creative ways to generate back links. Link Wheel creates natural looking portion of the Internet.
Each linkwheel spoke is an personal website, and these all the sites with linking to each other, each spoke increase link of authority, and after all of these websites link back to your hub, providing your hub links from any other authority websites. So if you make a larger linkwheel, you can have lots of links back to your hub site, creating your search engine rankings raise even faster.
Creating a link wheel is a very effective SEO strategy that can be used by anyone to dramatically improve the rankings of your sites. Simply explained; a link wheel leverages the power of highly ranked Web 2.0 sites to build targeted backlinks back to your sites.
A good alternative method to link wheels is link magnets, similar to the first but you need to improve much more time with directory submission and many other tools
I like to use link wheels and am on page 1 with my chosen keywords (sought after words - dog clothes uk). I would recommend them, but always make them by hand as a bit of human error makes them look authentic.
