I have a voip provider that wants to display adwords for searches on the keyword "skype"

Do you think there is any legal problem displaying ads on that search ?

Sorry I am new to Adwords, and I can't seem to locate such a thing in the Terms and conditions of Adwords.

My feeling is that there is no problem but, when I use the keyword tool with the keyword "skype" I get

while when I search for "coke" I see lots of results

There shouldn't be a problem bidding for a trademarked term such as Skype, but you won't be able to use this keyword within your ad text or description.

Is it U.S. based or U.K. based. That matters. Best way to find out is make up some ads with it in the title or description. If it's not allowed, they'll tell ya! :)

Wasn't there also some thing that you can legally have your competition's names in your meta tags?

I know I read something like that somewhere.
