    is this illegal? im assuming yes bc i have made so much from putting the pics above the ads http://www.prelude-tech.com. anyway it could be compliant?

    Making money from adsense is no guarantee that what you are doing is "legal".

    IMO, the pics themselves are fine, (but who am I?) but you can only be sure if you mail google and ask for a review: Email google at

    According to Jensense you do need a border between the ads and pictures, so they will probably tell you to just add a border between the ads and the pic to be in compliance.

    I know when I emailed and asked for a review that's what they told me.

    I know you're new, and don't want to sound like I'm jumping on you, but please take some time to read the forum first. This question has been asked ad nauseaum and is always answered the same -- yes, you can do this, Google has approved it, just keep a visible border between the image and the Adsense ads (i.e. they can't be physically connected).

    IMO, this is a cheat, lots of Joke sites have been kicked for this reason.
