I don't see any ads at all, just some pictures in a long column next to white space. Banned or some glitch?

I believe they are fine. Since they have the line to seperate the images and the ads they are good. Also I believe you can only have 3 ads per page. Which he has.

there is no reason why that would get you banned. I've had sites with similar large rectangles for close to 2 years and never heard a thing about it. YOu guys are too paranoid. If google has a problem with it they will e-mail you and let you know.

There is a risk that google could interpret it as an MFA and therefore possibility of being banned.

The problem is google have not stipulated what constitutes an MFA *in their eyes* and as such 1EighT is correct - you will likely get 6 different answers by emailing 6 different google employees.

The sensible thing is to split the ad blocks up and blend them into the content without necessarily displaying 3 large blocks ... remember, the site should be designed with visitors in mind (and there will be plenty of times that no adverts are available, either due to originating IP of the visitor or an inventory shortage).

It would make more sense not to rely on 3 blocks always displaying adverts and as such to design the site in a more user friendly manner... google ads take visitors away and if they click on an advert on their first visit to your site, they may never come back... at least let them have a chance to bookmark your site before pushing them out for the sake of maybe a smartpriced click of $0.01

I also just noticed at the bottom of the page:
I would seek clarification on the wording used whether it is within TOS to implicitly state you are sponsored by Adsense.

(Google can be ambiguous and therefore seeking clarification should shed some light on your situation, although not even that light can reveal the true situation, but more a guideline whether or not you breach any TOS)

I have 146 completely MFA sites (along with several regualr white sites) and i've only ever received complaints about my completely white sites (always over some small placement issue). They don't care about MFA sites from my experience. As long as there is some content you can get away with it.
