Is this kind of framing against the TOS?

    The hardly noticed ad in the middle of the page is displayed within a frame. The framed page contains nothing except a title tag, no content at all. Now, I know building pages only for advertising and without any content is strictly forbidden in adsense terms.

    My question is; would this kind of framing and embedding comply with the TOS? The ads look just like one of the items in the list and hard to notice.What do you think?

    (The site in the screenshot is not in English, but the ad can be seen clearly I think.)

    Yeah it's against policy, but that's another phrase to write about and get up in the rankings for on a legitimate page.

    haha! Getting people to click on the ad by using hot pics! Real stealth.

    Don't know if this guy is smart or stupid! Defenitly against TOS.

    Wonder how long he made money this way.

    Yes, that's obvious, but what I am asking about is the framing style and this kind of embedding. When you forget about that picture and assume that the framed page is loaded with rich content(on the same niche with your site of course), would this comply with the TOS?

    If yes, this could help people who have problems about getting relevant ads on their sites(like me).

    I would avoid using that method and rather use the method Google recommends which would be 'section targeting'

    The HTML tags to emphasize a page section take the following format:
    <!-- google_ad_section_start -->

    <!-- google_ad_section_end -->

    You can also designate sections you'd like to have ignored by adding a (weight=ignore) to the starting tag:
    <!-- google_ad_section_start(weight=ignore) -->

    With these tags added to your HTML code, your final code may look like the following:
    <html><head><title>Section targeting</title></head>
    <body>
    <!-- google_ad_section_start -->

    This is the text of your web page. Most of your content resides here.
    <!-- google_ad_section_end -->
    </body>
    </html>


    What this website doing is plain wrong and doesn't benefit the advertisers much as the clicks are mostly accidental

    guys I am just curious but how does google find such frauds ? I am sure that they are not waiting for someone to complaint. Do they manually check sites which runs ad-sense ?(it is pretty easy to fool bots afterall like put a image asking visitors to click on ads)

    I think a sudden jump in CTR will cause it to be flagged, also they spot check sites.
    Also, reading forums like this ; )
