Hello , if I am having, and and I would like to hunt in SERPs the keyword "expired domain names" , can I bold a few words like this way : http://softgroups.com/expire.php (As you see I <b></b> this words : expired, domain , names)
It is not keyword spamming but .. Why do you bolded phrase domain name several times .. IMHO one time is enough for that phrase. One phrase could be bolded one time (several times could crawlers see like something is weird here ) That's my opinion
bold is not spamming, but just don't bold the same pharse over and over, and don't bold that phares's first appearance. Beside bolding you can also use header tag and italic
This is the way you want to go, but don't use more than one at the same time. Try to focus on making your content readable for your visitors, and you should be good to go. HTH, Sam
So my competitors, can't write to Yahoo/MSN/Google because I am illegaly using <b></b> tags in order to "raise my SERP"?!
This won't raise your rankings on serps Backlinks will raise your rankings... IMHO Competitors can write to google or something else but they won't do nothing.. ->because this is not keyword spamming ..
I don't know that it's possible to "illegally" use <b></b> tags. If you overdo it, the worst that will happen is that the SEs would penalize your site for overuse. If your competitors notified the SEs, I doubt they'd listen - this is all done on an automated basis, by the spiders. And it is my experience that these types of tags *do* help you in the SERPs, by making your keywords clear to the SE spiders. They are only part of many on-page factors, however, and on-page factors are much less significant than off-page factors (e.g. backlinks, etc.) in determining your ranking. Sam
So , can I write a big text page , and put a <b> before the text, and an </b> before the </html> tag ? This way , will I rank very well for a lot's of more keywords?!
nope...google is not that dumb... Search engine see bold word as empathized hence more importnat. If you bold the whole paragraph, that mean nothing, to human or search engine
Samskpunk is right, and as long as your goal is trying to "fool" the SEs, you'll have middling results - at best. You're much better suited trying to make your site a good experience for your visitors. Sam
if you have own website,so you have only use minium time keywords, who one you have trageting.don't repeat targeting keywords again and again....
