Hi All- I just found this pretty cool tattoo site and it is just like the one I have been contemplating creating. However since I am not great at programming I could not figure out a way to make one like what I wanted on my own and was gathering funds to pay a programmer. Yet I found a site that looks just like what I want. The best part is it looks to be a hacked version of wordpress or possible a wordpress add on. Anyway here is the site: http://www.checkoutmyink.com/ If I look at the code I see some things liek the Ultimate Tag Warrior addon for wordpress and on one page I got an error message that was from wordpress. Is this a heavily hacked wordpress site or a simply addon / modification that I can make to a wordpress blog anyone have any ideas? Thanks Ichibanda
Hi fsmedia- Thanks for your reply. I am aware of Ultimate Tag Warrior. It is a great addon and I have used it on my blog sites also. However, I was referring to the overall script running the whole site. It is a nice web 2.0 tattoo community site that seems to run on a wordpress blog possibly. You can usually tell if a site is wordpress from this line of code near the top of the source. <meta name="generator" content="WordPress x.x.x" /> Code (markup): It looks like they stripped it out though.
Hi all- Yes you are both correct I am pretty sure it is wordpress. Both of your reactions and hunting came up with what I did it does seem to in fact be wordpress. Anyone know if this site is using a add-on or hack that can be found or purchased anywhere? It is a great looking site and I would like to set something up similar but dont have the programming skills do write code. I can install if it is a script or wordpress addon etc. Any ideas? It's a wordpress with a index page only tags and the single.php with a photogalary I looked 5 secnds and found a plugin for photo's at http://duhgallery.wikispaces.com/ there are more out there just google for "photo gallery wordpress" and select the best suited to you
