If you want to make money you have to figure out what people want and give it to them. Affiliate Programs, Adsense, CPA, or whatever are just tools. You are the carpenter. What can you do with the tools to build something people want? If you want to make money someone... many someones have to like the product you produce enough to take an action that results in you making money. Think about the market/customer first... go from there.

I agree that music is very competitve and dificult to make bank with. If you narrow your focus down to a specific genre of music you'll stand a much better chance.
It can be possible, as long as you drive people interested in what you offer to your site. So the quality of the traffic is key.
music is good niche................. online sites are available........like youtube.com. , you just can add your product video inside the youtube...and try google adsense for the advertising ........use bookmarking sites.....like facebook...twitter...etc...that is good for traffic....and there people know about your site and your products....
