My friend was telling me to use this method to get in the top ranking on google sites.

    -----start of friends msg--------

He said "for example I picked the niche: “Nicole Kidman. Then goto seobook.com or wordtracker.com search for the niche "Nicole Kidman" and he found "Nicole kidman oops - 2341 searches per day", Type in – Nicole kidman oops - without quotes or anything into Google. You get 407,000 results with not one a solid site. Next, type in - allintitle:nicole kidman oops into Google, and go. Only 16 results! Next, register any type of domain related to “Nicole Kidman Opps”, a good one would be www.nicolekidmanoops.com, Ok so you have your keyword rich domain, which is a must have for quick rankings. Now we just have to mix in some minor SEO. Here are the only things we need to edit in the page. We will be making one page of content, and SEO’ing only these next things..

    TITLE
    META NAME – KEYWORDS
    META NAME – DESCRIPTION
    H1 TAGS(H2 IF NECESSARY)

Here is an example of the tags we should use in correspondence with our keyword/niche
we picked out in the beginning.

*Remember we are targeting one niche/keyword only. Our target is “ Nicole Kidman
Oops” as this gets 600+ searches a day. We will optimize the site for this keyword
    following the above template:

    "
    TITLE - Nicole Kidman oops

Meta Name - Keywords= "Nicole kidman oops, Nicole kidman, etc(pretty much anything
    involving Nicole kidman)

Meta Name - Description = " Nicole kidman oops information as well as Nicole kidman
career and biography information. (Basically anything you can think of a description
    goes here.)

    H1 - Nicole kidman Oops.

    Body

    Footer "

    - That is basically it for the SEO’ing. You will be top ten EVERY TIME, if you
pick the niches like I just mentioned."

    -------end of friends message--------

I just don't understand why the "allintitle" search results would matter ? More information please!!

Anyone know if this is correct or any feedback would be great.

btw Enhancements would be great also!

Thanks very much for reading my thread.

Well the 'allintitle' will search for website that contain the keyword specified in TITLE.

Almost all search results will contain the KEYWORD in the page title, which appears in bold.

    The rest is correct.

Its what all about OnPage SEO.
But to rank you need to build backlinks with anchor text.

Choosing domain like this may get violated with "NicoleKidman" trademark sometimes. What does SEOer do? i can do the same thing.

I thought SEOers are someone who really know "secrets" to get on TOP 10.

Why www.cnn.com shows up on the first page for keyword "news" and its domain does not have the keyword "news" in it?

Anyway, I learned something from SEO today.

    Thanks.

so it really doesn't matter if you google it normally it has over 1 million.

then you search for allintitle: and find theres under under 1,000 sites

theres really no difference in getting it ranked higher, correct if allintitle has more than 100,000 or under 500? so my friend was just making the whole thing up about "trying to find sites that are under 500 'allintitle' to make it top 10?'

do you get what i'm trying to get at?

i'm just trying to find out a way to get on the top 10 rank of google, by any legit means if i have to get a very specific domain and use wordtracker.com to find keywords with high traffic and grab that traffic? see what i'm trying to do?

basicly the allintitle: is misleading people to think u have a greater chance of becomming top 10 on that specific set of keywords right?

no its one of the factors, but its not the only factor. If you are looking for an easy way than don't waste your time.

Its not impossible but its hard work. Read about SEO, learn about link building, learn about optimizing your content. read forums and then give it a shot. At that point you will most probably fail. So you can give up, or you can take what you learned and then again learn some more about SEO and then try again. At that point you will most probably partially fail. So you can give up, or take what you learned.....

it' s easy to be top 10 for a long-tail keyword/phrase that nobody searches for, very often just having the domain name will do it
In itself, going for those only-occasionally searched for longtails isn't a bad tactic - if you gets lots of them, it adds up.
But if you've put all your eggs in your 'oops' basket, don't be surprised if you only get 5 visitors a month

Not really for competitive searches - it's a pretty simplified way of looking at SEO.

If it was the case then every keyword rich domain would be top for every query when that isn't the case.

This could well work for less competitive queries, but it seesm like a lot of hassle registering loads of domains to target a whole niche.

The ONLY way to get ranked highly in Google is,

good on-page optimisation + a good link profile + aged domain = rankings

There really are no secrets, shortcuts or trick for ranking for competitive phrases

Thanks for the information and reading my thread.

I found a long keyword/phrase that gets 1,130,000 sites found when googled. but if you use the allintitle: it gets only 8 sites total. then i checked tools.seobook.com/keyword-tools/seobook/index.php and it says

    WordTracker
    count 1188
    Google
    daily est 1,485
    Yahoo!
    daily est 426
    MSN
    daily est 185
    Overall
    daily est 2,095

since theres only 8 sites total for 'allintitle:'

does my odds increase to be in the top 10 when people google that long phrase in google without the 'allintitle' ? aslong as i get backlinked and build traffic for it. would it be in top 10 within 4 days or so?
