Up since September 13th, 2007. Our users have posted a total of 22 articles We have 62 registered users In total there are 5 users online :: 3 Registered, 0 Hidden and 2 Guests [ Administrator ] [ Moderator ] Most users ever online was 14 on Mon Sep 17, 2007 5:12 pm I made $2.42 so far from Adbrite off inline ads. Typically, is this considered slow or fast for a forum because I never had a forum before.
62 registered users in a few days is pretty good. What kind of marketing are you doing for this forum?
Also watch out for the spam robot type signups as they may happen if you have got no spam prevention in place. Good luck anyway.
I know some people in real life that run "stock pick sites" (they don't run the sites themselves tho...they are more into the stocks than the webmastering of it) but I just mentioned I was starting a forum and a few of them helped by mentioning my forum in their mailing lists I'm not gonna give out the URL solely because I want the forum to be JUST for people interested in stocks. (I don't want webmasters to go in and sign up and dilute the forum's purpose.) I don't have stats yet cuz I just installed Analytics but typically at any given time there's 2-7 users online.
Nothing to hoot and holler about, but if it is new, its a start . Keep advertising and offering more than the next guy and those stats will continue to move skyward.
You are doing very well so far, but it would be handy for a link. not for us all to go and signup because unless us guys are genuinely interested in your forums topic, we aint gonna sign up, but it doesnt hurt for a look around. Dont forget. the more places you post a link, the more poeople and ultimately, search engines will visit your site. also people visiting your site might even click your ads and you may make a bit of cash from it!!!
seems pretty good to me.. maybe if u can provide more incentives for people to visit your forum, that would be beneficial.
Yea, well the incentive for visiting the forum is ppl post the latest stock picks so going and being more active int he forum boosts their chances of catching the right stock so it is a monetary incentive
