Is this forum based in India?

if not then how come most of the people here (from what I see) are from India?

 

India is a large country...They have lots of people.

 

No this isnt indian .. But indians are more into techie stuff soo people come here

 

It's an American based forum but many people on the forum are from India, they are very clever and friendly.

may b Indians just interested in tech stuff, does Indians interested with social websites too !
i mean facebook, orkut, etc..etc? i know as friends told me that Indians are people that God created them just to work, not for fun

may be they do speak english well but i heard that people from Philippines speaks english well unlike any other..is that true?

 

yea many asian here- indian, chinese and me being nepalese.. but forum is based in US.

India is the second most populated country in the world.. and a large majority of Indians know english unlike chinese.. so u can see a lot of indians hanging around every where on internet...

This forum is completely based on US. Sometime back this topic has came up.

 

all countries once colonised by British rule will definitely speak much English.. just like India, some African countries and Singapore, Malaysia... and since India has large population and they are really into IT stuffs, no doubt these kind of forums will be highly visited by them... same goes for Philippines, one of the largest English speaking people in the world...(once colonised by Americans too so they learn English too) .. Indonesia on the other hand were colonised by Dutch so overall the population don speak that much English.

I dont agree with this. Most Indians like me speak English because its the language spoken in business with tie ups in many countries. Its not because Britishers had ruled over us.

 

I am an Indian in terms of ethnicity, but I've been in the US for ten years now.
