is this fine?

    I added a external link to my site on http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/AdSense

    Because my site talks about Adsense and how to increase it...

    I added a link to a category. Anyway my questions are,

    Is this link fin (will wikipedia delete it)
    Will this count as backlink?
    Will this get me much traffic?

    No one can tell you this but Wiki. I have a few links on wiki. Yes it counts as a backlink and the traffic really varies on what the topic is. I get about 25-50 or so hits a day on one of my sites.

    No its not fine. Wikipedia has strong rules against this, and chances are, you'll be banned from their services.

    I've done that a few times,but all of the links got deleted finally.

    If your site is not 100% unique and relelevant to the topic and they think the link is useful for that topic then it will stay. Most links won't though.
