Is this even possible?

I just received 4 infractions in a period of 2 minutes for the exact same thread. I just bumped the thread once and received 4 infractions. Is this standard practice? I mean, i admit that i made something wrong but come on, 4 of them?

Oh don't get me wrong...i'm not compaining. I've had infractions in the past and i am sure i will have in the future. I just got 4 at once and that's what got me to wonder....But it must have been what prakash said. More than 1 mod gave me the infractions at the same time. No worries

You might have got 4 infractions on different posts of same thread at once. Check your email.

Moderators won't add infractions for the same post again 'n' again.

 

The rules are strictly enforced at DP you must be very careful at all time.

Unfortunately you could’ve been punished for one crime by four different moderators who don’t understand that you’ve been punished by another moderator already, if there was a system that prevented repeated infractions for one thread then that’ll be beneficial, but sadly there isn’t. But I don’t understand why asking about infractions rightfully merit more infractions, don’t you think that’s a little insincere? What crime category would asking something fit under, in the terms of infraction-worth?

if you read the post above you you will see he was punished for
4 different posts and thus 4 infractions.

also I see no reason for whining and complaining by opening a thread when one can simply PM the mods and ask for the reasons directly- that is why more infractions are issued and it is stated in rules already.. your responsibilities for not reading rules... (I am not refering to Op of this thread because he is just curious) BUT for others posting in here regarding infractions is just intention for
1. to get sympathy and reps
2. sympathy for infraction to be removed.

mate cool off, I've seeing you attacking the infraction system at any given times. We have had infractions and we have been "treated unfair" as you would call it so it is all balanced out.

 

Bolded equals misunderstanding and misquotation, you off on the wrong foot “mate”, I’m quite the opposite, only posted on two infraction threads, and you have no case.

 

I see this is starting to get out of hand and since my question has been answered i kindly ask a moderator to lock the thread please.
