Have it default on image ads, however if their isnt an image ad it displays text? I KNOW you can select BOTH but Is their any way to set priority..?
Nope. It's going to select the most relevant ad. Try setting one low priority space on your page as image only as that's more likely CPM, and a prime CTR area as text only or both to get the best returns.
I think Google calculates the best pay mix based on what advertisers are paying and then displays that ad. I don't know if there is a way to make it show only images.
There is no way to make it show only images. And google calculates which ads to show: and shows the ones that are likely to get you most money.
I looked all arpound the site for this and couldnt find an answer either so unfortunately i dont think its possible.
Display's Only text ads: google_ad_type = "text"; Code (markup): This string makes text ads priority and then images: google_ad_type = "text_image"; Code (markup): This string makes image ads priority and then text: google_ad_type = "image_text"; Code (markup): Display's Only image ads: google_ad_type = "image"; Code (markup):
you can can not priority for this . if you choose text_image ads type , google will decide which is more suitable for your site.
