I am running a forum, and i am using dp daily. my forum is new and have some good posts. my question is is this enough to use dp for backlinks ( not using any other sites, blogs, forums, article directories ). Do i get in top position in google if i made more than 1000 posts in dp. what is the best way to get backlinks for my forum, i am doing blog commenting, but it is a waste of time to read the whole of article and posting a comment. i tried article directory posting, but because of bad english they don't accept my article. what are the other ways to get some good and long time, anchor text backlinks.
this is not enough to get backlinks from only this forum..if you want to market your forum you have to do.. - proper onsite optimization - hire some professional forum poster expert in particular area - do some paid advertisement, press release submission in reputed pr directories. - do some quality link building from authority sites this will help you to get popularity for your forum
Hello! Expanding on what seojig was saying....you definitely need a variety of backlinks pointing to your forum - not just from here. Article submissions are great and there are excellent sites accepting free article submissions as well. Articles are probably the best way to embed keyword-rish anchor text links (as long as you want) pointing back to your forum. If your English is poor, consider hiring a copywriter to write your articles for you - or at least edit them for grammar and spelling. Is your forum concentrated in a particular niche market? If so, find relevant directories or alternative sites in your subject area that you can build links from. PPC/CPC is a great way to generate some serious traffic - especially in the beginning while your SEO tactics build to kick in at a later date. Hope this helps!
PPC is great to get you a jump start for sure. BUT i must say that article marketing is fun, free and it really does work for sure!
