I have a domain with PR7 - fnn0.com. Could you guys please confirm if its real or fake? I checked using info:fnn0.com and it showed me the same domain so I confirmed that its not pointing to some other domain. Also, this domain retained the PR in the latest google PR update. I am planning to sell this domain. Please let me know if the PR is real good or a fake one I am confused!
thanks guys. I have posted it in my "sale" thread- https://forums.digitalpoint.com/thr...om-pr-withstood-the-recent-pr-update.2634488/
Let me put it this way: MajesticSEO says your domain has 1 backlink and gives it a 5/- rating. DA/PA for this domain is 1/1 I would expect a proper valid PR7 to have a Majestic score of at least 50, and a DA of 50 as well. It should also have at least one or two PR7 backlinks.... yours has 1 backlink IN TOTAL from some Russian forum. The PR is not what I would consider FAKE per say, but it will definitely not last the next few PR updates. Not only that, but any backlinks given from this domain won't pass any serious SEO juice, let alone PR7 worth.
It will only be valid until the next update. After that, its PR will be reflected by the backlinks it has. The person who faked it timed it very well, so it was hard to detect (other than the glaringly obvious lack of credible backlinks). It's 100% fake. A temporary 302/301 will have been placed and then quickly removed (who knows when - just after the update?). I think you need to learn more about PR. Its toolbar PR is 7, but its internal PR is a big fat zero (based upon the links that exist for it and Google knows about, which will be about 1). So, Google already knows it is fake. (As they are constantly crawling and will have found the 301/302 was removed.)
I believe it was fake even i use pagerank checker that find out the site is PR 7. Mostly it done by redirection while a website with no much content, no backlinks, no traffics , no alexa ranking data. It quite impossible for normal website with that can get PR 7.
