buyipad3.com 500eur? think it will go for that? http://www.sedo.co.uk/search/detail...sub=22&partnerid=14456&et_cid=13&et_lid=17473 no its not mine before anyone asks...i actually looked to register it!
I don't believe so. I wouldn't pay more then high $XX for it. You might also get into trouble with apple for owning that domain. I think ipad might be trademarked.
As cheesee said, you might get in to trouble for buying it later on. but if not you might make a lot of money if you can rank high for those keywords before the 3:rd verision of iPad arrives.
Do you think? I can imagine it would be easy to rank NOW for those words but when its due then the competition would be huge
Well, I don't know when the iPad 3 will come and I have not checked the competition. If you are unsure if you can make it then don't go for it. =)
The only reason one would pay a significant amount of money for a domain name is if it holds a significant keyword. Check to see how many people search "buy Ipad" per month of "buy an Ipad" on Google's Keyword Tool before making your decision.
I would not pay $500 for a speculative site. buyipad2.com has a high alexa but that is almost useless, it is parked so any direct hits could generate revenue. I would only spend the money if you have a plan of action. otherwise buy "buyipad3.us" which will have just as much value if you put some content on there early enough. Besides it doesn't have any pagerank? so by itself it is only good for direct hits and direct hits are not as valuable as they used to.
Nah - I'd say no. Even if you got it to rank for "Buy iPad 3" now, then as soon as the iPad 3 came out you'd be knocked out by big retailers and places like TechCrunch - probably even before the device is available for sale.
