No, that domain is not valuable at all. Pick sex? Who says that? Nobody. By the way, I had no idea that .sex was a tld. As with other adult tlds, it is not cheap.

By the way, Namecheap is having a sale on .info domains right now with a first year price of $0.88.

@billzo Are you kidding? I think it's one of the ones that could be a winner. You'd have to have lots of really high quality content but I could see a marketing campaign along the lines of "What do you want online today? Pick.sex!" and then when you get to the site you get the different genres of porn, hookups or whatever. The problem comes with
    1. competing against well-established brands
    2. getting unique high-quality content
but I think you could do good things with it.

The problem that @Thunga now has is to be taken seriously as a seller of a high value domain. If s/he sells it here he'll struggle to get the real value because the buyers here won't be able to do #1 or #2 well - but if s/he approaches a domain reseller there's the risk of being treated like a newbie and ripped off.

No, I am not kidding. Here in the USA, "choose" is a much more used word than "pick". It's a bad, useless domain name. It could be developed into something profitable, but that could be said for any domain name. The domain name itself is worthless. Just for kicks, I did some searches for things like "findme.sex" and other terms and they were all taken.

I have wondered how much money could be made by a site that does nothing but embed adult videos from adult tube sites. I'm really curious. That awful "pick.sex" domain could be used for something like that.

Too many domain extensions around. The only ones making money are the domain registrars.

You learn something every day. Down here at school when classes were being divided into teams for sports the kids call out "pick me", guys in bars use "pick up lines", when your dog has puppies you're looking for "the pick of the litter" and when you are into sports gambling the pundits give their "pick of the day". What I've never worked out is what you drive when it's a "pick up", I think it might be a "ute".

Pick sex? Here in the US I pick apples, pick my nose, not sex. I am more of a .com guy, I have never been to a website with a different extension besides .org and .com and .gov.

I agree there are too many .tlds now. And the .xxx .sex types for adult traffic justs makes it easier for conservative types to pust adult sites deeper in to the web. Pick.sex is a clever choice but if it had been findsex.in or something similar it would be more brandable as you could geo locate the subdomains eg findsex.in/Florida etc

It is getting ridiculous. They even have singular and plural versions of some tlds such as .review and .reviews and variations like .sex and .sexy.

The .rich domain costs $1,988 on Namecheap and $2,449.99 on GoDaddy. They didn't get too many buyers of that one.
