Is this directory good for link building?

Has anyone had success with link building by listing on Judysbook.com? If so what type of businesses have you been listing?

Nope, but u can check by yourself, to see their PR, their traffic, their mantainece so on and on.

Make sure it will help after u get list in it!

 

Besides checking on the PR, go to Quantcast.com and check on the traffic and demographics.

If the site has decent traffic, check to see if the demographics match your target. It's not surprising that if your product or service (or content) is of interest to the traffic of the target site, that you will not only get a back link or two, but also traffic from the site.

 

Directory links are not favored by Google anymore... everybody and their dog is getting directory links, so google discounts them as being worthless

A Human edited directory such as Dmoz is still good

 

If it is a do-follow site, it is good for link building.

 

Can any one tell me how i can do link exchange .I have sent many request to many web developer of our competative website but they didn't give any response and still i haven't get any rank

 

It helps a little bit. Especially if the directory has a high PR. It gives you a good backlinks.
