Is this course a scam?

@sarahk posted a link to this course on my profile https://deals.iphonehacks.com/sales/2016-pure-python-bundle. The site does not look like the most reputable out there. Is it a legitimate programming course, or a scam?

 

Dunno about the quality of the course, but it's $40... Try it and find out?

 

For something like python, there's plenty of perfectly good free tutorials out there... so I really don't see what paying for it would offer...

... and yeah, that site sets off my scammy sense too.

 

As was said, plenty of free sites to learn programming, such as http://www.sololearn.com/

 

Check out the reviews first or find a free place to learn from. I always find that paid courses never help.

 

I will probably end up going with a free course. Thanks.
