I am making an ebook to sell. I have found some cool images i want to use on wikipedia. There's no copyright or signature logo on them just the pictures.

could i use these in my ebook without getting in trouble?

Click on the Wikipedia image and it will tell you what the source and license information is. Some Wikipedia images are in the public domain or are shared under a Creative Commons attribution license, so those you should be OK with. Others, however, are not - for example images from movies and TV shows. Wikipedia uses those claiming "fair use" , which might or might not be true - but one of their arguments is that it's fair use because site is non-commercial and educational. Using such an image in an ebook your selling could get you into trouble.

I think your best bet is to actually purchase an image from someplace like iStockphoto. That way you know it's legal.
