Is this consider spaming?

    Lets say I look in the yellow pages and email them quickly...

    "Dear ABC Company, I saw your ad in the yellow pages and thought you might be interested in a free report that I have, How to create better yellow pages ads"

    It's free and exclusive. Just email me back at "autoresponder"

    Is that email spam?

    To me and many others this is spam and will get deleted.

    Pickup the phone and try cold calling. If you are good at sales and breaking the gate keeper then you will do far better than sending an email to someone who doesnt know you or your business.

    I would also consider contacting the yellow pages sales departmentmanager. They may find that passing out a link to your free report to their clients will help them add value.
