Dear DP members, if I create an affiliate store, is the content of my site comes under duplicate content penalty?

You can always put in your robots file for google and other spiders not to access certain folders if you are worried about particular pages with duplicate contents

As everyone has said - Google will filter out your duplicates. ie. the duplicate pages from your site are unlikely to be shown - instead the duplicate pages on other people's sites are more likely to appear. To get around this you can:

    1) Build deep links to your product pages so that your pages have more authority than the competition.
    2) Write new descriptions for key products so that at least some of your products have unique content.
    3) Make sure that your feed retrieval system is ultra efficient so that you get the content onto your site (and ideally with some links, and maybe some RSS pings) before anyone else.

No doubt it comes under black hat technique, which can really make your site rankings high on search engines in faster way, but doing that has its risk. You WILL be caught and suffer for a longer period of time or probably your site might be ban.
