is this CLICK-BOMBING or what ?

going through my adsense sites i found that my blog had some weird stats today, dunno if its click bombing or what ?

Big Yes ! You might get banned if this continues. Please take advise to restrict your site to only people you know using the permissions tab or else this will spoil your account for ever. May be after 1 or 2 days you can make your site open to everyone.

I heard google analytics is going to come up with the click records where people can keep track of the number of clicks in their pages. I am waiting for it to be released.

Doesn't have to necessarily be click bombing because your CTR is 50%... with a low amount of impressions, that is sometimes normal. BUT... Google deemed them to be invalid which probably means that 1 person caused all those clicks.

If you had clicks and no money before, I'd say this is a problem worth looking into.

 

so should i mail adsense people about it ?

 

yes you should..email them and explain the situation

it's because the stats haven't updated fully yet. after maintenance the stats update a little at a time and the CTR and cpm are always high because for some reason the impressions don't update as quick as the clicks. if you wait till the morning i bet everything will be ok.

 

one other thing. if it was click bombing you wouldn't get credit for the clicks. google can tell when a bunch of clicks are coming from the same ip and they just don't count those clicks for you.

 

yeah i heard about it sometime back but is it still dangerous like having this much ctr with no earnings ?

 

it's most likely that the stats just haven't updated yet. i would wait till morning and your stats will probably look normal again. mine look the same as yours right now. it happens every time after maintenance.

Yeah... It is perfect click bombing..Please mail THEM to know about this act. If this continues, you'll be penalized for this action of unknown person.

 

me too, Google must seem those clicks are invalid and they just count the click but don't increase the earning.

 

i have removed adsense for now from that site and have also mailed adsense poeple about it, let see what do they reply about it.

those sure are invalid clicks. you made a good move to inform them first. they will investigate it and will recalculate the earning. now just wait for their reply.

 

After that you can also ban the IP from which you are getting frequent invalid clicks
