Is this banner OK?

What do you think of this banner? Is this design suitable for this web site?

Great work but IMO better choice is static banner

 

That or have 2 versions of it.

 

I believe a too busy banner takes attention away from the core of the site.

 

I think it looks good and is they right type of design for that age of car (meaning a big flashy flash banner would be too much).

I would run a static and animated version and see what gets the best CTR.

 

I would go with the static. Most people just scroll past ads, you only have a second or two to appeal to their interest, and only showing part of the ad in that time frame probably wont be too effective.

Text is readable but not that clear. (Automotive directory), otherwise looks good.

 

i dont think that is a good banner for your website you should also think of changing your navigation buttons.

 

I second that. It's fine, but can definitely be improved.

 

Having read the other comments, then looked at the actual site, I think you could get away with that banner, as the site is simple and plain.
It would add something dynamic to it.
I agree that you should try and both and see what works best.

 

Banner is for advertising on other sites, so isn't this a good thing?

tough to read.. simple and elegant that explains what the site is about is what i reccomend..
