Is this banner hot?

I think it needs more colour, just an opinion. Try using less photos then a tagline and a logo.

 

Cute asians are okey. The font used for "My Puppy Lover.Com" is not standing out well.

 

I personally think that is a big improvement espcially with the font, it stands out alot more and is much more attractive now.

 

It's ok.. Still needs some work but I think it would work for sites.

 

Ok another re-try.

- I did a colour change on the images due to the quility of images provided. They have been given a Sepeia tone.

- I changed the font, I wanted to reflect the Puppy cuteness within a font, and thus I chose one called Hercules.

- I added the boxs so that the images gives only a little away about the people, I did not want the people on the banner to be seen as main people or anything as such

- Color, I have stuck to the same colour, it blends well with the tone of the images.

End result:

 

If you don't apply shadow on the text it will pe perfect

 

Looks a lot better.

I'd switch the third and last pics, though. Why? The head tilt in #3 would work well with the text to the right.

I think you are right with the tilt, it will lead the eyes towards the text better.

 

OH just to add, I don't own the site if you read teh topic I just felt like making some banners

I would be insulted if I said . Nah I use MacroDobie's Fireworks.

 

i think you should add some border inside the image and also put those pictures in block,dont try to mesh them,borders around each photo will look fine.

Fireworks - heard of it (steps out of cave) but never seen it in action.

 

Most would not use it, but I sware by it. I think it is better for doing simple things

 

that makes sense, especially if you 'grew up on it'.

I am usually resistant to change, hence my LONG awaited switch from Corel Photopaint to Photoshop.
