Is this banner hot?

This is a banner of my friend's forum...he have got some cute asian on board... does this banner look ok to you?

 

Put some anti-aliasing on the text. Its too hard to read tbh.
Also, unless the images are *meant* to look of a bit crap quality, i would suggest getting higher quality photographs tbh. The last photograph (6th one) looks really bad tbh. (not trying to be harsh. Just honest)

 

also, the images don't look like they are in the same 'tone' or 'color scale'...

 

id start again tbh.

 

That's my suggestion as well. It's just not "hot".

 

Try to make a flash banner (no disco banner, just a few moving things )

 

hehe.. my friend just add ramdon girl via MSN and ask them to let him use their photo, that's why they looks all different

 

yeah remplace the font ... use a comercial one like zapfino or a free one from dafont.com you can also use a commercial foto, fotolia.com has low prices and also great pictures

 

the text is clear it will be nice if you increse the font size and make it bit smooth

 

maybe edit/change contrast on the pics?

 

Yeh that looks alot better but what makes it good is the pretty girls!

 

Thats an interesting twist. Black and white is good sometimes.

What do girls have to do with puppies? I think the B&W one looks pretty good, but ?

 

Don`t you understand that ? The girls are all trying to look the way girls think puppies think they look like. (specially no 2)

I agree, this MOD is a big improvement.

I'd even go one step further and 'auto levels' the pics to get a more even tone.

Def. B/W over the color version...the poor colors look too webcamish
