    You should definitely test different color-schemes.
    It may be that this is good for your niche (especially if it's technical), but when I had that on my site - I improved it drastically (like 100% and more) by optimizing the color-schemes.

    Try to use different ads layout ,colors and placements.
    I think you could earn much more as 1%CTR is a bit low.

    put your ads on the first,middle,or last of your content for every page. don't just rely on banner or sidebar. it can help improve your ctr to 5%

    dont explore your stats on public, its against tos, just can put page impressions and earnings... and if you show your website and then it could be easy to review and tell suggestions..
