Is this an Adsense TOS violation ?

    I have a website,

    It gets around 500 uniques a day..
    It is a VERY low paying niche...
    I have a blog.. Financial, .. will it be ok if if put a Top Banner in my other site (the one getting 500 uniques a day) so I can get some traffic to my financial blog where i have adsense too and a lot of content where it will hopefully convert in better payed clicks ?

    will this be in violation of any rule ?

    I don't think it violates adsense policies.. it's normal for webmasters to put banners or links pointing to their other websites.. I think it's safe...

    Just take it as a web promotion or advertising. I don't see anything wrong with it.

    You won't be in breach of the rules, but I find that the click through rate for a banner is very low anyway, so you're unlikely to drive much traffic to your blog using a banner.

    Why not write a short piece of text introducing your blog? I think that you'll attract more visitors that way.

    Better still, do both and report here to let us know which worked best :D
