Is this amazon link correct

    I was finding info on creating amazon simple text link to specific pages, I want to know if these 2 amazon links format is correct.

    http://www.amazon.com/dp/B0017HM0JY/ref=nosim?tag=aaa-20

    http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/B0017HM0JY/ref=nosim/aaa-20

    (aaa-20 = example of affiliate id)
    (B0017HM0JY = asin or isbn number)

    what's the difference between the 2 links format and which one should I use.

    This is the best way - you have the bar show across the top of your browser in amazon. Get to the page you want to link to and click 'Link to this page'. Hey presto you have links that you know are correct.
