Is this aloud? Is it breaking the rules

    Hey guys,

So I've done a search on this and can't find nothing. I'm a co owner of a social media forum and just wanted to know If I could make a post on here promoting it like I do on other forums or is this not aloud?

    Regard

Blatant self-promotion is not allowed here, as far as I know. Your posts will be flagged as spam if you do so or you may even risk getting hit by the ban hammer at worst. I guess you can use the advertising section (https://advertising.digitalpoint.com/) if you want. Another way would be to post the link to your social-media forum in your sig, but to be able to have a sig, you need to become an Established Member (https://www.digitalpoint.com/help/established) first. Or you can purchase the Premium Membership if any of the privileges it grants (https://www.digitalpoint.com/help/premium) help you for promotion.

    Hope it helps.

Use your signature (when you get one) - the rules are relaxed for signatures.
