Hello everyone, I was wondering whether or not the following is allowed: A page with adsense and content below it but in order for the person to see the content they would have to scroll down. The way I'm thinking about it once a person lands on a page full of adsense ads, the CTR will be higher since the actual content is not viewable unless if they scroll down and to their eyes the adsense ads is content. I have seen numerous sites use this method and it seems like they are making good money but just not sure what google will think about it, so just want to make sure before applying it to my sites. (I know some of you might be thinking that this isn't the best site design, I am well aware of that. Just wondering whether google will allow this). thanks! By the way, you guys have a great community here at digital point.
I don't know if it's legal or not, but do you really want to create a junk site? I know the income is important but don't you want to be proud of your site too?
Oh, Sarah, you're so old fashion. Kids these days, with Adsense fortunes a-twinklin' in their eyes, could care less about being proud of their sites. It's all about the buck for them, baby. Alas.
Well, you can place them like that if you wish... And I hear that google is getting more liberal when it comes to violations. At most you'll get a friendly reminder from google if anything is wrong.
yes even i think itz fine (although it will ruin the page layout)... just keep in mind tht google allows only 3 ads a page (i think so..) .. so place those 3 ads where ever you want..
I am proud of my unique site and have adsense in front of your face btw today I got in my stats referer from some forum where guy was asking where could he get art history timeline .... guess where can get it .... word of mouth even if ads are all over .... it is quality content that is worth and it really doesn't matter where ads are .... http://www.historyexplorer.net/art_history_timeline/art_history_timeline_800_000_bc_-_49_ad/ http://www.historyexplorer.net/art_history_timeline/
Have you ever considered that you might make more if you just had the 336 at the top, but got rid of the adlinks above it? A lone 336 will make your page look less cluttered with ads, and your CTR wll probably increase. Experiment with it for a week and I bet you would make more.
Why not experiment with both options? One week with just the 336, the other week with just the adlinks. Then you can look at the stats and see which placement makes you the most money. I'm still putting my money on the lone 336, though...
